Java Telnet Client
This Java applet will allow you to connect to VargonMUD if you have a browser that supports Java such as Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Communicator. Also note that some implementations of Java are buggy and this may affect your ability to run this applet.

• If you use this Java applet, you should click the Detatch/Attach Window button for the best viewing mode.
• If you find that you can't see what you're typing, try clicking in the black window to "activate" it.
• The Java Telnet applet supports ANSI color. Once you're logged in, type ansi to turn on the color!

Standard Telnet
If this applet does not work for you, you can still play VargonMUD. You will need to download a Telnet or MUD client and connect to mud.vargon.com 23.

Basic Instructions
To create a new character, type the name of the character you would like to create at the Please tell us your name prompt. If you are prompted for a password, you've managed to pick a name that's already in use. Click Disconnect and then click Connect and choose another name. Otherwise, follow the on-screen instructions to create your character.
